I have for sale a newly built pair of GR Research AV-1 Monitors finished in natural cherry. They feature a 5-1/4" curvilinear cone woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter. These speakers have been performance upgraded with optional Gen. 1 Sonicap capacitors bypassed with .1 uf Gen. 2 capacitors installed in the crossovers. Also, optional No-Rez  sound damping treatment is installed on the cabinet interior walls with Acousti-Stuff damping material installed in the back half of the cabinet for deeper, tighter bass and cleaner, smoother midrange. The cabinets are veneered in beautiful natural cherry with a satin polyurethane top coat finish. The AV-1's have a frequency response of 55hz - 20 KHz +/- 1.5 db, sensitivity of 87 db 1M/W, and  8 ohms impedance. These speakers sound amazing on all types of music but especially nice on jazz and vocals. Bass is clean and well defined down to 55 hz. The midrange and high end are very open, clean, and detailed with a somewhat lively sound quality without sounding over bright or harsh. The AV-1's have been compared favorably against similar sized high end speaker like Dynaudio.  I'm selling the pair for $450.00 + FedEx Ground shipping charges.  If you have any questions, please send me a PM. Note - Price reduced to $420.00. + FedEx Ground shipping charges.  Note- Priced reduced to $400.00

Hi Ron.

It's nice to see you're still building speakers.

These look great!  I'm sure they sound great too. :)
