The remote control option is available now. It uses the best Alps motorized dual volume control.
It includes a custom sending unit and built in receiver driving the control and a mute function.
Prices are:
As an option on all new SL chassis based preamps $250.
As an option on all EC chassis based preamps $300
As a retrofit on all current production SL chassis based preamps $300
As a retrofit on all current produciton EC chassis based preamps $350
The new option prices will apply (instead of the retrofit prices) to all new AVA chassis preamps shipped within one year of the introduction date.
The remote is only available for current production AVA chassis. The remote is not available on previous SL chassis generations, Dyna chassis, or on previous circuit generations.
The remote will not be available as a do it yourself option for preamplifier kits, but can be installed on qualified preamp kits as a factory wired option.
