It has been a couple of years since we adjusted pricing. During that time, we have seen parts and other costs continue to rise. Whether we like it or not, it has reached a point where we have no choice.
I should also note that we have the best team we have ever had here at the shop. These guys work very long hours and do sensational work. They deserve a raise too...something we cannot offer at our current pricing levels.
I do not know, at this point, what models will see a price increases or how much they'll be. And we won't know until we complete our analysis around June 1st. So it probably won't be worth asking about specific model pricing before then.
If you know you will be ordering speakers soon, just make sure you get the order in before June 1st. That way you'll get the current pricing.
In the past, we have offered individuals the opportunity to lock in the current pricing by putting down a small nonrefundable deposit of $100 or so to hold the price for six months. We can again make this offer for those who need a bit more time. But keep in mind, these deposits are nonrefundable.
Knowing our margins (which I do), even with these price increases, I am confident we will still offer the best value for some of the finest speakers in the industry.
