BG Neo's still available?
« on: 23 Mar 2015, 01:18 am »
Hi. I just noticed that Parts Express has pulled BG's Neo line of drivers from its site.

I also noticed that GR doesn't have them in stock.

Are these still available?

Thanks,
Jeff

Danny, an update on the availability of the BG Neo 3's?  Thanks!

I think they will be available again at some point, but right now I can't say anything about it.

Is that only for individual drivers or does it effect your N and OB series kits as well?

Danny, have you tested any of the Dayton AMT's?  Maybe that's a little off topic for this thread, but they look pretty nice.

I sent Danny a Dayton Audio AMTPRO-4 dipole driver for testing.

Once he has time, will be interested in the results.  It has a panel resonance at 800Hz that might be problematic for midrange use.

I have a lot of new stuff in the works including some AMT's.

Sometimes though I just can't say anything until a deal is worked out. Hang on...

It seems like most that have done anything with them are crossong over at 1500 or higher.  I've got 4 of them and haven't had time to do anything with them yet and am curious if the maestro might have some ideas.

For anybody looking for Neo3 while the river has run dry, I just saw this thread in the trading post here on AC (assuming a deal hasn't worked out for the lot with somebody yet; Hugh looks like he's picking up the Neo8):

Looks like a fellow AC'er has a case or two of them from a project that never got going.  Hope this can help somebody. :)
