I posted this at the Trading Post but, I thought it would greatly increase my chances of obtaining a pr. to post here also.
I'll take almost any condition other than something a big dog drug in. Not looking to get them for some crazy low price. You are entitled to a reasonable amount of money for the speaker's depending on condition. I prefer to get them from the original owner so I'll have some warranty, just in case, but I'll take a pr. out of warranty if I have to. I guess you are a little late to the party.  2 weeks ago I sold a pair of VR-33 speakers on Audiogon.  I gave them away for 1,800.00 plus shipping.

I saw that but, I never would have asked you to sell them at $1800. My not wanting to insult you smarts. We had e-mailed a time or two about the33's. $1800 never entered my mind. Next time I don't think I'll worry about offending someone. I just know how much I hate it when someone sends a one line e-mail asking if I'll take 20% of retail. You know the kind. Something will come along and if not I'll pay retail. They're at a great price.

I had 2 other people who said they would buy them for a lot more $$$ but they never came through.  I had already received my new speakers so I was getting desperate to recoup some of my cash.    I bought them for 2800, nine months earlier.  There was a guy selling the VR-35 on Audiogon for something like 4200.00 or there about.  You may want to see if it is still for sale.  That would really be a steal.

Having sold stuff online on and off for years, I find many potential buyers seem happy to offer 'smarts-insulting' bids, no matter the gear or starting price !

Harley, I have a pair of mint VR33's that I am no longer using.  I am the original owner and have all the original accessories including shipping boxes.  (I also have VR4-JR MkI's if anyone is interested.)  Make me an offer.  I did get the biwire option.  They are a great speaker for the money.  Last December, I spent (almost) stupid money for a pair of Peak Consults, so I have these VSAs to move out.

Where are you located?  I'm about 25 miles West of Baltimore, if a local pickup is possible.
