I ordered a pair of 7XRS Mk 2 in Walnut last Friday from Louis, so excited to actually be able to hear my Decware Rachael and ZP3 phono stage with speakers that match them in speed, detail and tone. Yes, the break in will be a bother but that actually passed pretty quick with the new Decware toys. Louis was so accommodating sending us a sample of one type of finish so my designer could voice her opinion, and while it looked great she just said ''spend the extra on the walnut and it will match all the Decware gear'' how could I say no? Jury is out on the subwoofer purchase until these get broken in but…being a bassist and still having my Moog Taurus pedals my guess is I will be calling Louis in the not too distant future. Thanks to the Decware forum guys for the lead on Omega and chiming in on my introduction. Happy listening, Chris.

If the MK2 behave like the original 7XRS I bought, the break in period won't be painful at all.
What's great is that they DO get better, but what's even awesome-r is that they are great from the first second.
From the moment I hooked mine, it's been totally badass.

I have a Decware Torii MKIV and they work well together. I can't blast it full volume though because the speakers can't take that much bass (I play mostly Dub, Reggae and late 70's funk)

Hello Chris – welcome to the Omega world.   Louis did up my Super 5’s with the Walnut finish and it’s top notch.  The grain pattern and hue are congruous with my taste for speaker finishes.  You should enjoy these for years.  Sonically you’re in for a real treat.    Pics please when they arrive.

My 7XRS speakers shipped last week and are due at my work on Thursday of this week. Getting just a little excited now. I have heard from many Omega supporters over the last few weeks and like the Decware forum there seems to be a great bunch of music lovers and people here.
