Cambridge Audio class XD design 840A-V2 integrated amplifier in silver, rated at 120W/Ch into 8 ohms. I am the first owner of this integrated amp which I purchased “new” as a demo unit from an authorized Cambridge dealer. Cambridge’s proprietary class XD design allows pure class A operation at lower power with undistorted switching at transition. This amp is in excellent condition having but a few very small scratches/marks visible only within a few inches of the casing.

It functions perfectly and is particularly engaging when connected direct to the unit’s power amp through its balanced XLR inputs. The amp’s fixed gain can also be adjusted to best match your system’s requirements. That is how I ran the unit. The huge toroidal transformer helps provide great bass impact and drive. Unit will ship double-boxed in its original factory packing. Shipping weight is about 40 pounds. The remote controller, original power cord, and a copy of the manual will be included in the sale.
