Has anyone found a source for finding nice hat/cap nuts for 3/4" bolts?  I am thinking of replacing all the 5/8" bolts in my salamander rack wiht 3/4" bolts from HD but I cannot source the top hat like caps for the bolts used on the top shelf.  My wife thinks that another bolt on top looks ugly.

There was a thread somewheres else that mentioned this.  Someone suggested McMaster-Carr  That's where I got mine.  Not exactly cheap; I paid 24.37 for a 5 pack (DOH! One more and I could have enough for TWO racks! Aaaargh!) Well, they do really improve the looks without a doubt.

Plus one look at their website and you may conclude as I have that McMaster-Carr sells just about every piece of anything you could ever want.   Sheesh!

If I ever make another Flexy I'm definitely going for chrome-plated hardware.  Mmmmmm....
