Up for sale is my Luxman L-505u Integrated Amplifier. It is the US voltage version and is in excellent condition. Works perfectly. Cosmetically there are no scratches, scuffs, etc.; however, I will note that on the top plate there are 4 faint traces of sorbathane feet used prior to separate a lightweight CD player stacked on top (see photo). These are truly faint, could probably be removed with some kind of solvent, and are out of sight if the unit is used in a rack or cabinet. Now back to the good stuff: This amp packs a lot of punch while maintaining excellent tonal balance and imaging. It sounds great with my Harbeth C7iii’s, and I believe it could much more difficult speakers (e.g. small/mid Maggies). Of course it’s got all the bells and whistles: cool power meters with controllable illumination, tone controls, a “direct” setting that switches tone and balance controls out of the circuit, a very good phono stage, subsonic filter, mono switch, recording out, headphone jack, etc. I purchased this from an authorized dealer in December 2013. It comes with a 3-year warranty to original owner, and I’m happy to help back it up if any issues arise (none in my 1-year of use). I’m selling because I’m using it for my bedroom system, and don’t really have room for a full-sized component footprint.
