This is the Charlize 2 amplifier form diyparadise.
Yeo has created the best tripath amplifier out there, and if you can get by with 10 wats per channel through the use of efficient speakers, it is a very hard amplifier to beat.
I hve sold off my 2a3 amplifier, as this little jewel is cleaner, and has better headroom and of course can be placed inside a cabinet, as it is ever so cool.
I used a 7 amp sla battery as power source, which is recommended.
23 bucks at home depot.
The battery is not included, as it was time for a fresh one.
I got six hours of play time from a fully charged battery.
The ampbox is jewel like, and this one does not have a volume control, I used a pre amplifier for that.
