FYI the Monoprice Cavalli Liquid Plantinum amp starting shipping yesterday and i am burning one in (8 hours now) as I write this.

It only weighs a bit over 3 pounds but has a nice, solid feel. Nice casework. Top gets quite warm when running though. Maybe someone will make an LPS for it but the SMPS seems to power it fine.

I have been using an Auaralic Taurus Mk II for the past year. Main cans are Focal Elex (balanced), HD600 (balanced), Fostex TH-X00.

Initial impression using the Elex is positive. It's slowly taking shape.

I am interested to hear your impressions/comparisons when it is fully burned in.  What tubes are you using?

For now just the stock Electro-Harmonix 6922. I some NOS Amperex and Sylvania that I will try after the amp is somewhat burned in (later tonight) and I've had a chance to give it a long listen.
