Having a strange experience - hoping someone can help
Using iTunes match, do most of my listening to songs streamed to various i devices & thru Apple TV. No problem - all songs ripped into library work as advertised.
Recently have been listening to my local library and intermittantly, when I click on a song in iTunes, another song plays and the original song disappears. I click on "White Christmas" and "Living in the past" plays.
I can restore song from a back up library - and since the problem was intermittent - didn't worry about it. Just grabbed the song from back up drive and replaced in itunes.
However, for Christmas, my wife asked for an iPod filled with holiday music, and when I synched "manually" via direct attachment - I was surprised to see something like 40% of songs "missing" - in other words only 6/10 songs in album made it successfully to iPod (and the rest no longer visible in iTunes)
Has anyone had this experience? Advice on how to fix?
