Not too much to say about this very well reviewed modern classic.
It is in fantastic condition, with no cosmetic blemishes that I can find and it is 100% operational. Will ship with the original manual, mfg check list, and power power cable. I don't have the original box, but know how to pack gear very well.

I recently bought a pair of Omega speakers which has opened my audio world to explore lower power options, such as SET's. In order to explore, I have to let this amp go. I realize I may be making a mistake, but I have a lot of fun trying different things. Having to let things go is just a part of the cycle of fun......as hard as it is sometimes.

If you've been curious about Pass Labs / First Watt amps, but haven't given any a try, the Aleph 30 is probably the best starting point. It has enough power to be versatile with speakers of average sensitivity (within reason of course) and you get a large dose of the Class A SS magic that really holds its ground even today when compared with more recent Pass/FW amps. After all, much of what you can get today from Pass Labs is an evolution of the Aleph 3 / 30. Many might say the Aleph 3 is "better" than the 30. Nelson has gone on record saying that he likes the chassis (on the Aleph 3) better, but that's all. Most who have heard both, state that the A30 is cleaner, more direct, neutral, and punchier, likely due to it's tighter parts tolerances than those of the A3.

So there you have it. Fantastic amp. Feel free to contact me with any questions or offers. I enjoy talking shop so if you have questions about the amp fitting your system, please let me know.

I've seen some Aleph 30's sell for more. I've seen some sell for less. I'm asking what I believe is about an average price, but for an above average example of this amp
Looking for $1100 + shipping from 57006. I'm open to offers. Just send me a PM and we'll talk it over. PayPal is preferred and we can discuss the fee, but I'll accept personal checks and MO's also. Feel free to check my many years of positive feedback on Audiogon under Ryanpdavidson

As you can see, the amp is still hooked up. I listen to it almost daily. I can probably take more pics (and hopefully better ones) when I remove it from my rig.

Dropped the price a little bit as I feel I might've been a bit on the high side of average with my estimate. Again, note the amp is pristine, likely a 9/10 on the Audiogon scale, but will state 8/10 to be conservative. Always better to under promise and over deliver. :thumb:

Make me an offer. I'd also consider an interesting SET or SEP amp in the 5-10 wpc range as partial trade. Might also consider an Oppo BDP 103 or 105 or possibly a tube preamp.

Will probably post the amp on Audiogon within the next couple of weeks or so. If you're interested, don't hesitate to contact me.

Another bump. If you're on the fence or think you might have something of interest for trade, let me know. I'm looking for some fairly specific trades (ideally), but may consider other things. :D

What's the status of this Aleph? Can it be used as a mono block? TY
