Robett Wyatt biography and album art prints

Robert Wyatt's biography Different Every Time written by Marcus O'Dair was published this month and would be a good read for anyone interested in the roots of British jazz-rock and the Canterbury scene. The usual suspects show-up, the Softs, Gong, Pink Floyd, Hatfields, etc. as well as their break-away members gone solo, Ayers, Hopper, etc. Good friends Brian Eno, Julie Christie and Elvis Costello are just a few who sing Wyatt's praises loudly. Obviously the focus is on Wyatt and soul mate Alfreda Benge, their trials and triumphs including Wyatts much admired solo work, Benge's art work, Wyatt's love of jazz and African music, his multiple severe depressions, several suicide attempts, his long struggle with alcohol, his adapting to life in a wheelchair and his Marxist leanings.

And I know some ACers are interested in displaying framed album covers and I thought I'd mention Hypergallery, "a virtual gallery devoted to contemporary artists working in the rock n' roll genre". Hypergallery sells high-quality giclee in pigment inks on acid free art paper prints 24x24,
as they are now doing for 2 of Wyatt's solo albums. The Hypergallery link is:
