Still enjoying the heck out of this phono stage.

Just wondering if anyone has used Genalex Gold Lion 12ax7s in their Cornet 2 and if so what did you think?

I have not used one in the Cornet 2.  I have a pair but found them a bit dark in my int amp.  I'll pop one in and report back.

Can't speak for the Hagerman, but they are excellent in the phono section of my CJ Premiere 3. Cheat a bit to the warm side of neutral, but very musical. Be sure to get the "premium " version. ( about $80-$90 for a matched pair)
