Less than a year old and bought from an authorized dealer. This is more than just a preamp. It also has a fantastic D-to-A converter AND a high current headphone amp built-in. This unit has the needed X-1 capability (update XMOS receiver chip) which allows better integration with any Mac computer to run driver-less (or simple driver for Windows) over the USB connection and supports 24/192 kHz rates. Not a scratch on it.Also has a high-power headphone amp. Fantastic one-box solution!!
Original box, packing, remote...everything. Do some research if you don't already know what this is capable of. Hard to find reviews of the Pre, but if you read the reviews on the Grand Integrated, you can see how good that is; the Pre is identical except minus the amp section. This piece sounds fantastic. No longer made by Peachtree. Probably too costly to make!
