i was under the impression that the MG are a BIG step up from the L2Ds which is why i'd like to hear a Ref 1/MG comparison. after all the MG have the upgraded mid driver.

i like to use the Ref 1 as my comparison speaker now for 2 reasons...

1) they're easy to pack up and transport!
2) they are what i consider my point of reference speakers now. these babies have set the bar for me...

Mad Dog - I understand your reasoning.  It seems more logical when you talk about the Ref1 as your reference rather than the fact that it costs about the same.  I still think it would be interesting to do the RS750s for general info.  It will be interesting to compare the L2Ds coming my way with the better mid to the Ref1s, RS250s and CBM-170s when they arrive.  Unfortunately I'll be getting married shortly after they get here, so I might not post my thoughts for a while.
