I set up my quads in my home theater. I do not have a 5.1 processor, only the Oppo 93 5.1 analog ouputs connected thru my Supratek preamp to the main front speakers and the rear channels to another amp. Upon watching a Blue Ray dvd in DTS 5.1 - Prometheus- there were some instances in which one speaker emitted popping noises. And mind you at volume levels equal or less than in my regular CD listenning sessions. So, is there anyhing special about the DVD sound -especially DTS or BR - that would make this happen?
