Christopher Hogwood passed away.

A very sad day. :(  Christopher Hogwood died today.  I've heard many of his recordings as conductor of the Academy of Ancient Music; indeed, some of my first CDs where his.  RIP, Mr. Hogwood!

What a great loss!  One of my favorite disk sets is his recording of Handel's Concerti Grossi with Boston's own Handel and Haydn Society.  He will be missed.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
