Canada Rob, the amp you see is the Artel-Andrew Vermaak AA-1 hybrib set.  A home grown passion that's still in the development stage.  It's so new that I'm still waiting for a spec sheet.  The Type 1 should be very happy.

Louis - I had a very nice listening trial with Milford3 on the HB's.  I'm not sure which driver I like better, the Type 1 or the RS5.  Both present themselves with precision and finesse.  Looking forward to your new creations.

The Type 1's are broken in and sound is fantastic.  Low volume listening is the forte of this speaker. The eight inch driver is so good that I turned off my sub.   Great job Louis.

The Type 1 is a winner, and has been a good seller for me up here in Canuck land.  They're easy to match up with a variety of amplifiers.  I hope to have the new HB website up before autumn.  I have a pair of Super 3XRS in the same finish as your Hoyts, except mine have pearl gloss black sides top and bottom.  The combination of the black and Karelian birch burl is stunning.
