Its good to see that some of the original DIY'ers are embracing their original supporters/capital seeders.  I long ago took issue with some of this cohort for this reason and still maintain my position.  Nothing wrong with adding a spectrum of price points but to neglect the heart and sole of the original directive smacks of vanity/greed to me.

TLDR:  ok, not exactly, I skimmed the article and read most of the questions and the beginning of the answers.   Is it me or does this article, like a lot of similar articles seems like marketing in disguise?

Late to the party as usual. I can't imagine a turntable designer/manufacturer interview not reading like add copy on some level. Thom has been a profound influence on how I think about building turntables. I think everyone should have a teres project deck in their quiver.
