Getting closer to picking a new color for my Smurfscape 8's... thoughts?

So, I bought BRM's Smurfscape 8's.

I am having them refinished with my center channel.  I've been leaning towards a darker green (but not too dark) as my room is a very deep green and black.

But after seeing a few recent shots of speakers, a slightly more traditional color has some appeal.  With the limited tools online photoshop has, I mocked up a couple pictures.  I would want to go one "shade" darker than this in the green, but with a similar tone.

Todd's light rose/cherry SS8's I absolutely love.  Wondering how that would look over the tamo ash.  Anyways.  Wish I was better with photoshop as this green is too light, but wondering what folks think.  Always keeping resale in the back of my head just in case...

Here is a vote for: rose/cherry  :thumb:

+2 on rose/cherry. Blue and green look cool but that must be a keeper. Red is easier for resale purpose.

I would do a really SUPER dark green (or red) that looks nearly black, but when light hits them, the green (or red) tones can be seen.

That's what I've been leaning towards is a dark green that pops a bit with the light.

I think that's the way to go. If they look nearly black in pretty much all but direct light, they'll fit into about any decor much easier whether you redecorate, move, or sell them in the future.
