BDP-2 NAS
« on: 21 Jun 2014, 11:40 pm »
Hi all new to the site and to Bryston digital products. Need any help you can all provide. Just purchased today a BDP-2 in the process of setting up the NAS. While it sees the NAS and i can select it whn I get to share drop down the folders in my NAS are not seen I can of course manually select a share and a sub folder when i hit next i get the following errorEstablishing Connection With NASfailed to connect:sudo: unable to resolve host bryston-bdp-2 Unable to find suitable address. I took out the username and password.
sudo mount -t smbfs -o username='',password='',uid=106 "\\\\192.168.1.12\\Musica\\WAV" "/media/Musica_WAV_on_DROBO5N" 2>&1||
I am using a Drobo 5N with Netgear R7000 gigabit set up. thanks in advance for your suggestions.

If you figure anything out, please post your findings. I gave up on trying to get my BDP-1 to communicate with my NAS. I just bought a solid-state drive and plugged it into the back.
