Bryston 10B crossover
« on: 7 May 2014, 04:58 pm »
James,

Which 10B crossover would be better for my system.
 The 10B-std or 10B-sub.

I have a pair of  PMC IB2S-A   which are Active speakers.
The are rated down to 25hz.

I am going to have a pair of 12" subs.

The 10B-std goes down to 70, the 10B sub goes down to 40.

Can the 10B-std be modified to go lower than 70.

Also can the 10b-std be modified to allow a 24db slope.

HI

The 10B Sub gives you a lot more choices for low frequency frequency selection so that is the best option for adding subs.

There is a LR 24 dB version of the 10B called 10B-LR but you have to choose the frequency point you want the roll-off as they are plug in boards rather then front panel select-able.
