This is a 32Bit /192K Audio-GD NFB 11.32 DAC/ headphone amp, which employs an ES 9018 Sabre 32 DAC with Async USB, coax and optical connectivity. "NFB" stands for zero feedback, and the circuits are all discrete, without op amps or coupling caps in the signal path. This is very unusual n this day, to say the least. The volume control is a good Alps unit.
Audio-GD has built an enviable reputation for its' DACs in particular, offering design, construction and sound quality way above its' price class competitors.
This DAC sounds very good and is in great condition. It is a current model, but is out of stock, according to the website.
I think this is the DAC/phone amp to beat in the lower price ranges.
