Multiple inputs, internal power, bluetooth, nice case-$400 right now sounds like a deal.

Now up to $449, but honestly w/ products such as the NAD 3020 retailing at $500 w/ out a phono stage, and being more pedestrian looking, the $449 seems like a good deal.  A lack of a remote is a bit of a bummer though.

The kickstarter thing is just good marketing to build up some buzz.  I suspect over time more small high end companies will do it as well, if not for marketing purposes, to test market new products as well.

Looks interesting and perhaps the shape of things to come. But no international shipping. Boo

I'm a little surprised by that too. Boo indeed.

That's something to note, you're not going to find a phono stage on many of the little amps out there.

FYI: The Sprout campaign has been opened up to international shipping. Initially, it was thought to be more trouble than it was worth, but the level of demand convinced PS otherwise.

Yes, I am working with them on this campaign. I previously worked with Light Harmonic on their Geek Out and Geek Pulse campaigns.

John R.: no plans at present for future campaigns. One product at a time! ;->

A slightly different input configuration would be preferred: 1 analog stereo mini, 1 pair of analog RCA, 1 USB, 1 75 Ohm Digital RCA, no vinyl or bluetooth.

Otherwise, looks pretty cool. Black with the wood grain would look even cooler.

What kind of DAC chip(s) are being used?

Apparently, a Wolfson 8524 - http://www.digitalaudioreview.net/2014/06/ps-audio-sprout-a-qa-with-scott-mcgowan/

A bit more than a day left in the campaign.
