Amazon seems to sell a bit of audiophile products. Great news, especially if there are no dealers in your area offering the gear.
Another feature is, with their Store Card, they sometimes offer interest free financing deals. I just picked up a pair of KEF LS50s taking advantage of that (12 months interest free). They should be broken in before the first payment is due.
With Amazon Prime, the shipping was free, and the UPS man brought them to my door in less than 36 hours after I placed the order.
I think the present deal deadline is the end of March, and the Oppo could be purchased the same way.
Hi jk@home.
How about just
Hi jk.
I sure don't want to do any free advertising for Amazon,
but I had a few things to buy
and opening an account with Amazon with my Master Card
debit Card was super easy.
Of course I got all my purchases send to my wife's nephew in Seattle
and he send them to me via a relative coming to Vietnam.
I've tried to buy directly from some on line manufacture's website,
but there was always something to go wrong.
Amazon also has a wide choice of products with good prices.
And I agree with you, look as if they offer more hi-end products.
I like their wide selection of CDs and LPs.
I was surprise to see that they even offer the fiberglass stuff
for the bass trap.
Now, that being said, of course I would like to buy from the brick and mortar stores, but here in Vietnam, I don't trust them
(Exception for my Sennheiser HD-650 purchase from a local store)
and the other thing, here they don't have choice.
It's not what you want, it's more what they have.
What I would like to see from Amazon, is a special department where you would state any products you want and they would get it for you.
