I have a Maestro subwoofer that is in need of a baseplate.  The current one was damaged in a move.  Mark at Meniscusaudio says if he has the dimensions they could likely manufacture one.  Prior to going that route I was wondering:
 
1.  Are, or were, the baseplates commodity items that might be still available from an existing source such that I may be able to purchase one from their current inventory?

3.  If the baseplate is a custom product, is it made of MDF, or from some special material?

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

There is no existing inventory of the base plates. They were made from MDF and sprayed black. I'm sure Mark could make a perfect fit if you supply him w/ exact dimensions / / /
