The 1824M's are nice vintage mid horns. The Alnico 1823M are much more desirable and now rare as many have been used to make top end "talk boxes" The 1824M's do need to be mated with a compatible tweeter The 8HD horns aren't that desirable. They ring like a bell and are tough to tame. Modern wave guides are a much better choice. Although EV mated them, the 8D's don't sound all that great. I have seen the 1824M's go for anywhere from $50 - $120 pair. You see higher prices on eBay, but generally they don't sell.
