$500These have served me well in my Office system; paired with the Cayin M-6. They are a sweet combo; but the whole idea behind the Office system...was to switch it up, and try new gear.
You see them in the Main room now (sounding better than ever...with the additional breathing-room; being fed by the SBT/Mytek, which are not for sale)...because I am re-modeling my Office. Seems as good a time as any, to maybe try something new; and let someone else enjoy this, or both pieces.
I won't carry on too much, about the RS-1s here. PM me, and we'll talk some shop. They are a truly lovely-sounding speaker. So musical; such good timbre. Can listen for hours.
They have
some pop, and natural, "punchy" bass; but I'll be honest. If you like the Zep at concert levels; these 5" paper cones, obviously aren't for you
OTOH; if you're an Acoustic, Folk, or Jazz guy...they're pure heaven. And they'll rock; just not ROCK!
I bought from the original owner; who couldn't quite get used to them, and gave up on them too soon (and then eventually came asking for them back...lol; his loss, my gain). They arrived near new...and sat quietly, and did their thing in my Office. Looks the same, as when I got them. I'm asking for $500, after s&h, PayPal (if necessary), etc.
