 All right! As an owner of 2 Butler 3150 tube hybrid  amps in my 6.1 system, I can attest to the tube-like airyness along with the dynamic solidstate power of these amps. I heard the class A monoblocks.  Comparing them to some pretty good SET amps like the Art Audio, the big Consonance monos, Philly 300B monos, and a Larry Moore, there was a huge difference.  

One would expect more power, and more drive, but what was strange is that the Butler had more SET sound than even the other amps!  It was an amazingly live sound, and phenomenal bass.

These monos on some Cain and Cain Bens is pure heaven, and one of the top three systems I have ever heard.

Not sure how close the other Butlers are to the monos though. . .
