Comparison between the FET Valve and FET Valve CF preamp

Can anyone share their experiences with a comparisons between the new FET Valve CF and the predecessor FET Valve preamp?  I am itching to have my FET Valve upgraded to the CF version and wondering what anyone else thinks about the difference in performance between the new CF vs. the predecessor.  Any inputs or comment would be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to hear this comparison.  I am wondering about upgrading my AVA Fet valve (rev B) preamp.

I will be posting a review of the new FET preamp over the weekend.  Frank let me take one home for a couple of days.  Previously I was able to do an in home audition of the prior FET.  At this point all I will say is that the newer one sounds better and more tubey. 

About 2 weeks ago, a friend brought over his new T-9 for me to listen to. I will comment on it too.

Here is the review of the FET Valve CF preamp compared to my Ultra Plus and Pass Labs X1.  There is a brief review of the T-9.  From what I remember of the original FET pre, the new CF is more Tubey, warmer and smoother.  It has a more liquid sound without loosing any detail.  I much preferred the CF.  I am still trying to decide if I am going to keep my X1 or buy the CF.
