Converting US 4BSST2 to Work in China
« on: 12 Jan 2014, 05:15 am »
I'm selling my 4BSST2 and someone asked if it could be converted to work in China.  The build date is 1310.  The amp is in the US and operates on 110 V. The required voltage in China is 220V.

I looked at the schematic on the Bryston website and it looks like the transformer can handle multiple voltages.  Does anyone know the answer?

Where are you located and what is the voltage you use?

I'm in the US.  Again I omitted an important detail.

Hi Bud

It would be converted by our China distributor as they know all the safety issues and have the correct hydro stickers and would re-register the warranty.
