I have a very nice pair of Omega Super 5 monitors in a great looking two-tone finish. These are about 5 years old, and I believe they have the hemp driver. Louis has said they can easily be upgraded to the new RS5 driver, which is said to be a big improvement.

They are in great shape; no noticeable scratches or flaws. There is some light wear and tear, but nothing out of the ordinary for a used speaker. The grills are magnetic and have been left on almost the whole time I've had them. I am the 2nd owner, and I took great care of them. They sound excellent with ss or tube amps, and by all accounts the RS5 drivers will take them to a whole new level should you upgrade.

I do not have original packaging, but I will take my time and get them well packed for shipping, with plenty of thick insulation type foam to protect them. I'm in 44221. I would estimate around 35 or 40lb for the shipping.

I don't really know what to ask for these, so I'm asking $425+ shipping but am open to offers. I had trouble finding comparables to get a fair market price. I can accept PayPal, money order, or check after it clears. Thanks in advance!

I could be wrong, but I don't think price "fishing" is allowed.  The buyer can't be the seller too. so I'd say research your item, come up with a number you are comfortable with ( within market value - since no one will over pay on an item that has low demand) and post it.  You are clear about what you WON'T take ( $150) which is a good start, but I'd say this might go better with you as the seller knowing what you WILL accept and posting it. 

otherwise , you may just want to hit an auction site. 
Nice speakers for sure though. I have a set of Mini-Me from Omega.

Thanks, I updated my post to include price. I should have read the sticky more carefully, didn't realize I couldn't put an open ended price ad up. I've had trouble finding comparable sales to get a good #.

Beautiful speakers. 4.5" is my all time favorite driver that (in my opinion) outperforms 6", 8", 10" and 12" in terms of detail and imaging. I had several Omega and Tekton speakers pass through my house and 4" is the ones I kept.

One word of warning though on shipping - 4 pairs of speakers that were shipped to me via FedEx, UPS or Postal sustained shipping damage to the speaker box, one had damage to the driver. Overpacking is a must if original packing is not available! To think of it my Zu's, Tektons and Omegas that I kept were either delivered to me or I drove to pick them up to avoid the damage.
