Just recieved my new BDA-2 and using it with my CD player via the digital out coaxial to the SPDIF input.  Now i'm trying to play music via my IPAD2 using the camera connect kit.  So i have the CCK plugged directly into my IPAD and a cable with the male USB connector plugged into the BDA-2, but no success.  Getting message on IPAD "Bryston usb 2.0.  The connected device requires to much power".  any advice is apprectiated.  Happy New Year!!!

As a troubleshooting measure, you may want to use a USB hub between the Ipad and the BDA-2.

I was going to try a powered HUB, seems IPAD doesnt realize that the BDA-2 has its on power...

He could try sticking a powered USB hub in between as so the dac doesn't draw any power from the iPad.

Yes, that was the trick.  Placing a powered USB HUB between IPAD and BDA-2 (without plugging in the powered USB HUB).  The green light came on immediately and the music begin to play.  Wow the sound is simply amazing!!  I am one happy camper now!!! thanks for your help!!!!!
