Just wanted to pipe in for anyone considering these. Rich was kind enough to let me demo. These are the first Salk speakers I've heard in person and they sound fantastic. Love the ribbon tweeter and nice tight bass as well. There is a chip on the side of one speaker as noted, but not too noticeable with the dark finish. Otherwise in very nice condition. I would conservatively rate them an 8/10.
The matching equipment cabinet is very nice as well. Ultimately won't work for me as I have no room for the extra furniture, but it makes sense to be sold together. I think these are a great buy for the right person.
