I was looking to use the " High Level In" inputs of the Sub. Would like to know how the Sub and the amp are wired in that case.
It's a very simple hookup, just connect the sub in parallel to speakers/amp.
You can connect the sub high input to either the amp output post, or to the speaker input post, whichever is shorter or easier.
But do not connect the amp to the sub and then the speakers to the sub, as this will adversely affect the performance on the speakers by adding a high resistance temporary connection to the speaker signal path, you will lose some electrical damping. The main speakers should always be connected directly to the amp, then the sub can be connected to either the amp or speaker posts.
Make sure that the positive amp/speaker goes to positive on the sub, and negative on amp/speaker goes to negative on the sub to maintain correct sub polarity for good stereo imaging.
Turn the sub input level all the way down before turning the sub on, then gradually adjust it up to your desired value.
The high level input of a subwoofer amp has a very high load impedance, so very low current is drawn, so you don't need thick high current speaker cables for this, but a quality cable with pure copper conductors and preferably not PVC insulation, imo.
