Require the Wiring diagram to connect A370 PEQ to X-statiks and power Amp. Amp does not have sub out
Thanks

You can use an RCA splitter to go from the preamp to both amps.

Thank you Rob.

I was looking to use the " High Level In" inputs of the Sub. Would like to know how the Sub and the amp are wired in that case.

I had the same question. so far what I have figured out is this.
run speaker wire from your amp to your high level inputs on your a370 amp. this means you will have two cables connected to the same terminal of your amp. one going to your speakers, one going to your sub's amp. this will not take any power from your amp. it is sending the signal only, but retaining your amp's sound signature.
I hope this helps answer your question.
In my situation, my question is, if I have only one sub, do I connect both left and right channels to the one sub? Or do I just chose one?

one set of wires connects to your speakers, the other will be connected to your sub.
The amp will sum the two channel signals as needed by using both High level inputs, if you only have one sub, or if using one each for left and right, if that makes sense.

It's a very simple hookup, just connect the sub in parallel to speakers/amp.

You can connect the sub high input to either the amp output post, or to the speaker input post, whichever is shorter or easier.

But do not connect the amp to the sub and then the speakers to the sub, as this will adversely affect the performance on the speakers by adding a high resistance temporary connection to the speaker signal path, you will lose some electrical damping. The main speakers should always be connected directly to the amp, then the sub can be connected to either the amp or speaker posts.

Make sure that the positive amp/speaker goes to positive on the sub, and negative on amp/speaker goes to negative on the sub to maintain correct sub polarity for good stereo imaging.

Turn the sub input level all the way down before turning the sub on, then gradually adjust it up to your desired value.

The high level input of a subwoofer amp has a very high load impedance, so very low current is drawn, so you don't need thick high current speaker cables for this, but a quality cable with pure copper conductors and preferably not PVC insulation, imo.

Thanks  Metfit77, Hobbsmeerkat & Richidoo .

I have uploaded wiring diagrams which corroborates the wiring layout you have recommended . It will make it easier for others users to understand the layout .

I just noticed you have a Schiit Freya+.  It has 2 pairs of rca outputs.  Why not use these to connect to the sub amp?

Hi Rob,
I was given to understand that it is better to use the" High level in" rather than line out .

Steve Guttenberg ( Audiophiliacs , Cnet  ) & Paul McGowan of PS Audio also recommend using the high level in's .

I know some people endorse that, but in my comparisons, I almost always prefer the SQ of line level input over high level input.
If you think about high level input, you are taking a line-level signal, feeding it to an actual amplifier to amplify it, feed it through long speaker cables to speakers, then adding another speaker cable from speaker to sub plate amp (or skip this step if connecting to amp speaker posts), which then has to convert the high level signal to low-level before doing its own amplification to the sub driver.

I’ve tried it both ways and find the line level path works better.  Plus it’s less stuff in the signal path.  I also prefer this due to the cost of the cables.

Another factor is where is the best location for your sub?  Depending on where that is could lead to long speaker wire runs (not great) vs a long pair of interconnects from your preamp.

You’re certainly free to do it however you like.  Try both ways.  But try to minimize expectations based on what others think.  They don’t have your room, system, ears, etc.  Or just pick one and go with it.

After some trial and error ,this is the configuration i am using now. Corndog71and Danny too , had recommended it.  Due to some limitations of my Class D amplifier this is the configuration that works .
