$2100 including paypal fees. This wonderful sounding class D amplifier was purchased on audiocircle as a Signature model in early 2013. As such it has the desirable CPBP (The Cardas Patented Binding Posts). I sent it to Spectron in CA so they could upgrade it to MK2 status in July. I have barely broken in the upgrades but it is already noticeably smoother and more balanced throughout its range. Runs very cool and efficiently.

I bought it to pair with my Gallo 3.1s to see what they could do, but they are leaving in favor of more efficient Zus and lower powered First Watt amplification so the Spectron has to go. This amp demonstrates that class D has gotten a bad rap, there is no harshness or thinness, it really is great sounding with a passive preamp or buffer, or tube preamp (the amp outputs 600w into 8 ohms).



Rated 7/10 because I am the second owner and it had a couple of marks on it when it came back from the factory, as you can see in the photos (mark on the side is a shallow indentation, one on the top you can't feel, only see in some lighting conditions), otherwise perfect.  Located in zipcode 06897 (CT) for pickup or shipping calculations (65lbs shipped).
