King of New York featured a great performance by Walken.  He was also very very good in The Runaround.  Walken is so versatile- he can project genuine menace when he chooses but he's also genuinely funny.  What was that goofy movie about table tennis?  I forget but he was hilarious in that.  Gotta say though that one of my favorite bits by him was him reading Lady Gaga's "Pokerface"! :thumb:

An obscure, yet pretty good movie with Christopher Walken : Things to do in Denver When You're Dead

It has a very Tarantino (Pulp Fiction era) feel to it, so if you like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, you'd probably like Things to do in Denver....

I liked that flick, but all that urine in the plotting grossed me out. I'll probably not rewatch it.  :shake:

 All that urine!!! You make it sound like it was central to the plot of the movie! It was only one character who had an "issue" involving fecal matter (and urine), but as each character had their own tangential part of the movie, I can see how that one segment could be a little too much for some. Like Tarantino movies, there are parts that can be uncomfortable to watch. :thumb:

What kind of disgusting, perverted movies are you people watching in here?

I think if they had left the sewage out of the plot it would have been a popular film. It's good otherwise. That one character could have had a different 'hobby' eh?

You may be right. It didn't really bother me, but it is pretty frikkin gross. I like Tarantino films, so maybe I was already numb to the shock factor in the (Tarantino-esque) Things to do in Denver, when I saw it.

I had forgotten about Things to do in Denver - "Buckwheats!"

Glad to see there are others out there that appreciate Chris and his special ways.

Makes me want to start a thread about Gary Oldman (True Romance again!) or John Turturro!

I saw Stand Up Guys with him and Al Pacino in it and really enjoyed it.

The Rundown

I always felt this film was incredible in the fun-to-watch department, but mostly dismissed due to the fact the other co-stars were The Rock and Stiffler.

I watched Stand Up Guys last night and loved it. Not a great film by any means, but come on...Alan Arkin, Al Pacino, and our boy Christopher Walken all in the same flick? What's not to love? I found it to be a very fun film with a good heart. These guys are all getting up there in age...I hope they keep making movies all the way til the end.
