confused on wiring 2 subwoofers to 1 servo amp

The SW-12-16FR Servo Sub Woofer is intended to be used in pairs and connected to 1 amp.  I am confused as to how you do this.  While the woofers inputs should be connected in parallel - providing 8 ohm input impedance - how do you connect the 2 feedback sense outputs from the speaker to the amplifier sense input?

The servo drive sense coils are wired in series to the servo amp sense input.

If the drivers are mounted in opposite directions, one drivers wiring polarity needs to be reversed.

This should do it.   Like HAL said, the drivers are reversed.

I spoke too soon.

You have the drivers in series too.  Wouldn't that make the speaker impedance 32 ohms (16 + 16) instead of 8 ohm (16 in parallel with 16)?

No.  One wire parallel set the other is servo control series

I see it now.  Thanks

Did you get it?

If for some reason the woofers are acting funny, the servo wire is not attached tight enough...

I don't own this sub (yet).  I was trying to figure out how you were supposed to connect 2 together.  I had not seen any discussion of how they were supposed to be connected.

What was bothering me is - this is a servo system.  So the amp has high gain and a sensor feedback to move the cone as dictated by the input signal.

So now if you have 2 drivers - I would think you need 2 amps (and 2 servo systems).  With only 1 amp - and adding the sensor outputs for feedback - I would think that slight differences in drivers could cause issues.  Maybe not - but it seems that way to me.

But with all of the praise I hear of the dual OB servo it must work well.

Hey Rak, It doesn't really work that way. The amp sees the pair of woofer as one driver.

That one amp will easily handle three of the SW-12-16FR woofers.
