There has been quite a bit of interest in the Panasonic digital receivers.

There has been somewhat of a limited amount of folks willing to spend $700.00 on the full mod, even though it does make a very large improvement to the sound of the receivers.

I have decided to offer a limited time "introduction" to what modding can do for the Panasonic receivers.

I have added a Power Inlet mod to the list of Panasonic Partial mods on the website. This mod involves replacing the stock power connector with a Furutech Gold Plated IEC. I also have to mod the power supply board a bit and I use 14 AWG NITRO wire to connect the inlet to the board.

This mod will allow the owner to use ANY power cable with a standard IEC connector with the Panasonic receiver, though the NITRO power Cable I make does sound REALLY good with it :D

This mod is on sale through the end of the month for $85.00

The owner of the unit is responsible for shipping charges to and from Colorado. This mod will void Panasonic's warranty.

The current time for mods has dropped to 1-2 weeks. If you are interested in getting you Panny receiver modded, please e-mail me to set up a date to ship it.

I am also offering the special version of the NITRO power cable designed just for the modded Panasonic receivers for $75.00

Wayne,

I see that you have split up the mods into packages:

Can you say which one will give the biggest improvment?

Hopefully this will drum up some business for you (so you can fund your son's hockey career).   :D

Sean will hopefully being visiting me in the coming weeks and bringing his Panny.  This way I can finally hear it and decide what I want to do.

Best of luck.

George

George,

The speaker posts, IEC and rewire will make the biggest difference audibly.

The power supply mod gives the Panny even more dynamics and drops the noise floor.
It will also help the receiver be more stable into lower impedances.
