Hello all

After much debate, and some mails with Danny, I've pulled the trigger on my first diy speaker kits

It started out just wanting to get some better speakers for my hobby woodworking shop, and ended up with a total upgrade for my HT as well

I've finally settled on A/V-3 mains, a A/V-3S center and A/V-1RS surrounds. All upgraded with SoniCaps and will use NoRez.
Like Todd (greenklein), I had a hard time deciding on which towers to go for. The A/V-3s won out as a good compromise, and I liked the total package with the matching center and surrounds. These speakers will be replacing a Paradigm 7seMk3 setup, which I never was really happy with. I'll recycle the Paradigm sub, which I
have been happy with. All will be driven by a Pioneer VSX-1018AH receiver.
I have a full workshop and lots of furniture building experience, but this will be a bit new for me. I have never done any veneer work before, but am looking forward to adding that to my list. I am sure I will be here many times looking for advice

After corresponding with Danny, and lurking on this forum, I can agree with the 'family' sentiment, and would be happy to be a part of it.
Oh yeah.... and I also ordered an X-LS Encore kit for the shop !
