Took a trip to Recordland in Calgary today and was not prepared for the amazing selection, cramped quarters and endless records to choose from.

My wife had been mentioning about getting a Bee Gee's album as she had a song in her head and couldn't stop thinking about it.  So off we went to Recordland for the first time and she found the exact same album she listened to as a youngster in her bedroom.  This particular album was made in 1973 and was brand new in it's un-opened cellophane package.  Needless to say she was happy and so was I after I found about ten albums I wanted.

Glad to see this happening. I think that ultimately the hard copy of music, be it vinyl, CD or even cassette will be more valued than any "virtual" equivalent, even if that equivalent actually sounds better.

This is what I have been doing for last 25 years and is very enjoyable for me as far my life is all about music.
Well, I will be in Victoria next month and my 2 hours transit in Calgary would not let me to do this but it is definitely in my to-do list when I get in the city.

I do wish the reporters would have asked how much the cds and vinyl were. Seems like an obvious question to ask for such a report.
