We have a very good condition Champagne Gold (rare color, only in europe) Heart CD-6000 unit that is heavily modified for sale.
This was our 2002 reference player and is used currently in our 2nd system, which is being eliminated to help cost the start of another business.
The Heart CD-6000 units rarely come up on and not that many of them have been produced. This is the version with the newer circuit boards and transformers in it.
Remember, the cost for a brand new (stock) Heart from the US dealer is $996.

Replace stock internal wiring to tube power (power and signal) with Audio Consulting 24awg silver wire ($50 value, lots of time)
The player comes with the stock remote control, original manual and box and a set of Sovtek 6922 tubes. I would definitely experiment around with other tubes (like the CCa, and other 6922 tubes) to see how it sounds.
With these extensive mods, this player sounds strikingly better and in a whole different league than compared to its stock form. Very wide soundstages, refined bass amd treble and smooth mids. You won't find a better sounding player at this cost!!!
In its stock form, this player has been compared to many $3000 units with just a simple tube roll to a 7308, now imagine where this unit is with the additonal mods!
