This cartridge is the last of the "V15" series, and some say one of the best. There are many reviews on-line that laud the sound and trackability of this version. Personally, I've found it to have exceptional bass response, terrific mid and high range (I loaded it at 47 and 82 kHz and didn't notice any unwanted roll-off) and a wide soundstage. And, I've never had an instance where it didn't track properly (I always used it with the brush down).
I honestly don't know how many hours are on the stylus, but there are no known issues and it sounds wonderful. It was part of high-end turntable purchase I made from a gentleman who was retiring and downsizing his collection, and was meticulously used to listen to jazz and classical music. I am only selling to fund an equipment move to a LOMC cartridge.
In the spirit of full disclosure, the only flaw I see is a scratch on the underside of the cartridge body. It has no effect on anything and is not visible when mounted. I honestly have no idea how it happened, although my guess is that it is from a screwdriver, probably as the cartridge was being mounted.
