Mark wanted a pair of Veracity HT2-TL's.  He selected a batch of ribbon striped mahogany and supplied a picture of the color he wanted applied to them.

Here are the results...

And a close-up...

Happy listening Mark!

At first I thought… mahogoney…. meh… but that grain is very nice….  Very very good!

Very nice to see this classic veneer. It is classy and rich looking. Mahogany can have many looks and most are so beautiful. In person the glow of the rays in the wood are captivating. Some popular woods nowadays are so striking that they are hard to work into the home decor. These can go with almost any decor.

Man I'd love to hear these.  That is among the most beautiful speakers I've ever seen.  This design looks impeccable, squeezing the most possible from any 2-way direct radiator, and with the least possible compromises.

I first saw this thread several days ago then failed to find it during long search time last night, just to get another glimpse of it.

Can we hear this model at RMAF?

These are Veracity HT2-TL's.  We will most likely have Veracity ST's at RMAF this year, since it is a new model.  The only difference is size.  The ST's are smaller and have 6" woofers rather than 7".  But in a side-by-side listening tests, it would be difficult to tell them apart.
