The AC and IEC connector housing is made of thick, military grade aluminum for 100% shielding. Also uses pure copper foil shield, pure cotton dampener, and teflon and PVC insulation. Excellent performance with a balanced, coherent sound from top to bottom. Due to the massive wire gauge and multiple shielding, this cable is very thick.
