This is NOT the 8008bb nor the 8008st nor a ten year old version of this amp previously made by Klipsch. It is the newest version as done by the Indy Audio Labs. This strongly built amp produces very low distortion, 200 watts at 8 ohms, 400 watts at 4 ohms (yes,
the power supply is stout!). Under the hood this amp has a very clean layout. Reports from audio magazines and on-line are praising this amp for transparency, dynamics and neutrality.
This no wimpy unit in more ways than one. The matte black face plate looks to be 1/2 inch thick. Cooling is effectively done by a distinctive "V" shaped groove running across the width of the amp. This amp expands upon the legacy left when similar amps were done by Mondial with many technological advances and improvements.
