Coffman Labs H1-A

Checking out the new Coffman Labs H1-A headphone amp.



After being very impressed by the Coffman Labs gear at The Show Newport, I arranged for a in home demo of their headphone amp. The build quality seems fantastic and I dig the aesthetics. Impressions to come once I get more listening time.  :D

I've been eyeing the Coffman gear for a while.  The pre amp has phone and headphone built in.  Too bad I have a few preamps already

A beautiful alu chassis, the metal tube hide the tubes is strange indeed, tubes need free air to cool.

The manual inform the output tubes are Pentodes in push-pull:
