It's obviously intended for the pro market. But it certainly has many cool, useful functions if you know how to use them.
I've not used this unit but have used similar ones in both live sound applications and as home audio EQs. My experience has been they work well in a pro setting but tend to muck up an analog-based music system. Only your ears can tell you whether the AD/DA is transparent enough for you rig.
I've had good success with analog parametrics on subs. Analog filters are not as precise as digital, but the higher headroom of an analog circuit is more forgiving of input level fluctuations and there are no latency issues. Unfortunately, analog parametrics are close to extinction except for the expensive mastering studio units like the Manley Massive Passive.
Another option if you are (or can move to) a computer based system, is to use VST plug-ins inside a program like Jriver. You could easily drop a Manley Massive Passive into your rig that way.
